World Profit And Jeffrey Lant Scam
BBB Accredited Scam?
In my research travels for BBB Accredited business opportunities within the BBB online website that I could review, I came across this website called World Profit.
Now first and foremost I need to inform you that not all businesses accredited by the BBB are completely scam free! Only real due diligence into the business type and into the actual business itself along with a search on some forums will you get at the truth. This is what I do for you!
This is what I did as an undercover agent (sounds cool) so you don’t make the same mistake, and I MEAN mistake! Now lets continue on to the comedy. (Hint: I wouldn’t trust this guy!)
My Experience With World Profit!
While I was happily plodding around looking for some BBB Accredited work from home programs I came across World Profit. Your first impression would be “looks like a good trustworthy site”, at least. And it’s BBB Accredited A- so I figured what the heck I’ll check it out.
So to continue with my research I signed up for free and was brought to a live screen-cast with one of his cohorts sitting there and immediately he says “Hey Rob, please say hello”. So I type in “Hello” as asked. On the right side of the screen-cast there is screen with all of the people that are signed in at the time that they talk to.
“Hey Rob, are you interested in making money online?” was the first question, so I said “Yes, Of course”.
“Good, then will you take a look at the 15 minute video by clicking the link below and then come back here for a real special deal!“.
So I did and proceeded to watch the hyped up sales message “Video” which started to talk about all the really really cool stuff (actually really crappy stuff!) you can sell and get commissions on and you’ll get 50,000 free visitors to the website of your choice (BS) and a lot of Blah, Blah, Blah and to hurry up and go back to the live screen-cast because we have a great deal for you (Phfffft). At this point I was saying to myself “What a joke!” and went back to see this “Great Deal”.
Let The Comedy Begin!
This gets really funny! So now I’m back at the screen cast and immediately (I forgot the Bozo’s name) says to me “So Rob, did you see the video?”.
”Yes I did” I responded.
“So you see the really great stuff we can do for you to help you make money online”.
I said yes just for the fun of it knowing full well this whole thing is a scam. Before I proceed I want you to take a look at the image below to see these guys.
Now you tell me, do these guys look like a couple of Dork’s or what? Talk about first impression! These Bozo’s don’t even care about their appearance or that they are sitting in their living room. Take a look at “Jeffrey Lant’s” so called office behind him, it’s a wreck! What a pack rat! If I were trying to scam you out of money I would do my very best to at least “Look” professional, wouldn’t you?
Would you like a good laugh? From time to time I’ll just go this web address 20incomestreams.com to watch this comedy. Don’t worry, if you are not logged in they can’t see you or know you are there, just click on “Attend Live Webcast” on the left to watch and listen to their so called “sales pitch”. You’ll be stunned!
Okay, here is the continuation of my brief “conversation” with them:
“Okay Rob, are you ready to make some real money online?”
“Of course I am.”
“Good, we have a special deal for you but it’s only going to last 2 minutes. If you sign up right now you’ll get 10 “Associates” under you and you’ll get 50,000 free visitors to your website for only $99.95, are you ready to start making money today?
“Is that $99.95 a one time payment?”
“No, that is $99.95 per month and you will get great deals every month that you are with us and we close the deals for you, are you ready to get started because we can’t have this special deal for forever, it’s only good for the next 2 minutes.”
This is where the fun begins! 
“I really don’t have any money, can’t I just sell your stuff and make a commission?”
“No, you need to become a member and you’ll get access to all of our great (Yea, right) products, just click on the link that says “Goodie Bag” and see what we have to offer and come back here and we can sign you up right away, but don’t take too long otherwise this offer will go away forever.”
So I went to the so called “Goodie Bag” and took a look around. Nothing but a bunch of garbage e-books and promises. So I went back to the webcast as a naive person just looking to make a few bucks on the internet. It continues as follows…
“That’s quite a bit of stuff you have” (knowing of course that it is all crap)
” Well it looks like you are a smart person, you have to take this offer now before it goes away, are you ready to sign up? Remember, we do all of the selling for you.”
“I don’t have any money” (this is where it gets good)
“WHAT? What do you mean you don’t have any money? Look in your pockets, you’ve got to have some money! Are you living on air? You have to have money, how much do you have right now?”
“Okay, I have $50.”
“Okay that’s great, now you just have to come up with $49.95, can you do that?”
“No, that’s all of the money I have right now.”
“You mean to tell me you can’t come up with the $49.95?”
“That’s it, I’m flat broke”
“You’re not broke, I know you can’t just live on air. You must have a credit card with enough on it for $99.95. You MUST have money otherwise how do you live?”
” I lost my job and live day to day”
“This is why you need to join up today so you can start making money right away, go to a friend or neighbor and borrow it if you have to.” (Can you believe this guy?)
“I’ll have to check my accounts to see if I can do this.”
“Okay, I’ll hold this special deal for you until 2:00 so check your accounts and come back here and we’ll sign you up so you can start making money right away.” (It was noon at the time)
Did I return? Absolutely not! This wasn’t the whole conversation because I was really F***ing with them for a while and they got extremely impatient with me and told me in not so many words to stop wasting their time and they were going to “remove” me from their database and that I was not a good enough business person to join their “club”.
Forget it, don’t even go near this place at all unless of course you want to play with their heads like I did. It was a bit of fun though! :)
How they got on the BBB Accredited list is beyond me. Are they paying someone off? Do they keep starting up new companies and when they start to get a poor rating, close it and start another? Whatever the case I would highly recommend that you stay away.
Go to Google and do a search for “Jeffrey Lant Scam” and you will see a list of sites pretty much telling you the same thing. Here is one that has a list of the other Jeffrey Lant network of websites to stay away from. He calls him a “pathetic little troll with glasses” which I thought was pretty appropriate.
I hope this little story enlightened you and gives you some idea that even BBB Accredited businesses are not the only legitimate online business propects. Like I’ve said before, I’ll only review good solid online business ideas and marketing programs that work will work for you.

I just fell for World Profits Scam…I signed up because they said a one time offer to sign up. They didn’t tell me it was Almost $100 a month until I already signed up. I signed up under the impression that there was a 30 day money back guarantee. Now they are telling me that there is no money back guarantee. So now I have to fight with them through my bank and get my money back. I am also going to report them to the BBB.
Hi everyone, I am actually quiet surprised by what I am hearing. I am a member of Worldprofits and I have been seeing results. The actual “gold” is in the system that they have that is quiet frankly mind boggling.
I also hear a mention of the price which admittedly seems high when you have been seeing ads that can only do 1/10 of what we have available for $27.00 a month. But believe me, I have paid for a large portion of the services available and it was well above $200.00 in a month.
The honest truth is that like with any business you have to buy or lease the equipment in order to do your job, you also have to advertise to get customers. Worldprofits guarantees Traffic, which they deliver and absolutely superb training by George Koch. He really knows his stuff.
His Training alone is worth way more than $100.00.
I agree that Dr Lant has his own style of speech and a very prickly personality, but he really is a brilliant write and he does know how to get you motivated.
I am happy that I not only joined at the Silver Level, and I have upgraded to Platinum, with out anyone even mentioning it to me. It has that much value.

Just wanted to comment on this with my thoughts to anybody who stumbles across this post. I have been going to the World Profit Live Business center on and off for over a year now, simply observing how they conduct business. I don’t personally have any experience with the back end of their system so I don’t know if the majority of people are profiting or not (from what I read in reviews like this, they aren’t) but on the front end, the way they conduct business has every earmark of being a scam.
The first warning sign is that they pressure you into making quick decisions by using false time limits. This is how scammers work. Dr. Lant dangles a “special one-time limited offer” in front of you. He says this offer is available TODAY ONLY. What doesn’t make sense, is he makes this same “limited” offer every single day.
In fact at one point he said “Did we ever say well if you don’t understand it take a few days to learn about it? NO! You need to have gumption and act NOW!” This baffled me. Why would taking a few days to learn about something you don’t understand be mentioned as a negative thing? Obviously he is afraid if people actually took the time to learn and understand what they were offering they wouldn’t buy into it. This isn’t a good sign for the quality of their product, is it?
Dr. Lant is regularly described a self made millionaire by other monitors in the Live Business Center. Maybe this is true but I am having my doubts after listening to what he tells people. He advocates that people should go into debt in order to pay for World Profit. I don’t know any millionaires who would suggest such a thing. As financial expert Dave Ramsey says, to build wealth you first need to GET OUT OF DEBT. “Debt is dumb” is Ramsey’s mantra. The fact Dr. Lant tells you to go INTO debt is evidence that he probably isn’t the financial wizard he claims.
As mentioned in other comments, he is also very mean. At one point in my observations, I heard him call someone “Less than dirt on the pavement” because they expressed doubts about purchasing their package.
Overall, I can only say that from what I have observed in over a year of watching them conduct business, I can’t recommend World Profit to anybody.
Watched the video .after 20 minutes one live webcast started watched all.Was lucky got one free 50.000 visitors package. The thruth is i got all the free offers what they offer.in 12 hours worldprofit send me like 80 unique visitors.I will stay as basic member. But it is not a scam.
I’ve been told by a friend that Clickbank make it tricky to get compensated by way of compelling you to offload heaps of alternative digital products through varied cards and then Paypal. I’d like to employ Clickbank except I’m worried about this process. Is it actualy true?
I been a member of Worldprofit for a number of years and can tell you without a doubt, they are the best company for learning home business techniques on the net. There is no comparison.

I bought the Silver package. And yes, it’s a total waste of money. Everything they say they teach you, you can learn elsewhere for free, and you chances of success on the Internet remain about the same 97% are wasting their time and money, and 3% make money off of everyone else. Sound familiar? It’s called life.

I have been a member with Worldprofit going on 4 years now and have enjoyed learning from day 1. If you have a problem with Dr. Lant then it doesn’t mean he’s running a scam, it means you don’t like a person.
Many of the comments in this blog entry are from people angry at being told the truth about how it takes time and effort to make money. At least that’s what they teach you at Worldprofit. If you can’t handle the reality of hard work = money then go get the latest clickbank product and find out the hard way.
Worldprofit is the best training you will find on the net period. And, be sure to check out the Accredited BBB logo – they don’t hand those out to scams EVER!!
Think twice, and look before you leap into this. I found it to be financial quick-sand, and I did everything they told me to do. When I asked them why I wasn’t making any profit, I was told to go back to the Bootcamp, that I had not been paying attention.
Dr. Lant would not let up about me joining the junior monitor training, but why would an honest CEO want reps selling, when the reps just began and are not making any money themselves? Think about this. It’s the blind leading the blind. That’s the World Profit way. “Join today, make money tomorrow!”
I had to really question why seemingly decent people like Sandi Hunter and George Kosch would partner with someone like Jeffrey Lant. I wish George had stayed in our Royal Canadian Airforce, where his talents could have served a more noble purpose in life, training jet pilots instead of training people to be scammers for Lant.
Dr, Lant is very rude, disrespectful and hurtful, and lying. I hope more past and current members will speak up.
Save your money, I was in this for two years. Lant treats you like crap, and you’re paying $99-$199 monthly! It’s not worth the money, and most members are not making any profit. They brag about 700,000 members. What a joke. Most left a long time ago. A couple hundred, at the most, are left.
I’m surprised George Kosch and Sandi Hunter are partners with that little creep Jeff Lant. They seem like decent people. George has good weekly live training and and set up some very quality marketing mechanisms. If Lant were out of the picture, maybe World Profit could be a good place and move ahead and treat people right.
I was was of the ding-dongs that bought a Silver package, and then got talked into buying a Platinum package, before finding out my sponsor who has been actively promoting World Profit for fours years and is a senior monitor is NOT making any profit!
Jeff Lant strikes me as having an alcoholic type personality, plus literally admits treating people like dogs. No, I’m not kidding.
The programs is full of lies and exaggerations and have an 11% spam rating from their mail servers, but some of the education is very good with George Kosch.
The site is void of any artistic beauty and is very unappealing on the surface, but there are many fine features under the hood.
If it were not for Jeff Lant, I would have remained a member, but dealing with that jerk isn’t worth it.
Well, Dr. Lant does have an annoying way about him but I see it as a passion for what he does. I work with a few of these characters on my job. I know this, as a newby,…call me ignorant but for $99.95 I am getting a great education on internet marketing. My mentor, if you will, has given me hours of his time helping me set up my website and getting me informed. We’ll see how it goes. I have a product that must be moved fast as Phase II is only 12 to 18 months from being over and I need help marketing it. Hope World Profit can help. Thanks for this opportunity to comment.
I just came off the so called live webcast and Jeffrey’s personality is horrible. He tried to insult me by saying: ‘You hear to pick up the crumbs’ when i mentioned the 50000 free hits.
This got me angry and i wrote on the webcast message:
You are an arrogant, egocentric B******, Jeffrey, T***! and then logged out. I felt good. I searched on google and found many sites screaming scam including yours.
I then received an email from Lance Sumner encouraging me to join. I wrote back with the following:
Your emails are very deceptive. You entice people by promising them 50 000 free hits by attending the live webcast. When i do attend (3 times) you encourage them to buy your overpriced membership package which costs hundreds of dollars.
There is no mention of the free hits AT ALL.
You get directed to Jeffrey’s pre recorded video on promoting his products and then turn around and say ‘No, only for people who attended the live webcast before. Then when i mention this to Jeffrey he says in his ‘patronising tone: ‘You here to pick up the crumbs’.
i find his personality very impatient and arrogant. Just because he filled his bank by other people’s money, it has got to his head.

Login in and have something ready to copy and paste to warn others who are there about to get scammed. It’s funny and it helps people. So you get your daily dose of comedy and service projects all in a few seconds. They ban you after that. LOL

I have a guy who is calling me every day to join this program. I have hung up on him once and he called me right back. This reminds me of a cult and any day now I am expecting a crowd of people to be walking in my front yard like in the old movie The Mummy.
This guy is telling me about the 50,000 visitors that they will send to my web page and that sounds like the proverbial carrot.

Deja Vu! Except… I said I don’t have enough money now then came the reply. Admit it your broke and continued to badger the rest of the webnair attendees to either purchase or admit they are broke! hold on for the offer to close and I’ll tell you how to get the money??? OK so I held to see what was comming next.. they gave a link to some catchy show type music… Then other existing members came online -text responses – also, honestly it was like a dog on heat nipping at the fresh bait! OK initial offer closed now for the “broke ones” Lant goes “follow this link and get yourself organinsed then come back!” Hello – it was a link to paypal credit? So I replied – I do not want to use credit to take up this offer! then they got pretty “unfriendly” Anyway I took the 50,000 credits for advertising (get this they pay people to read ads and take money from you to advertise? ((real ethical!!)) Anyway I get an email – your account for 50,000 free visitors has been paused as you havn’t logged on for 3 days (this condition was not mensioned anywhere?) click this link to restart. Cool I’ll click the link… Oops its the only website that I try to go to that has a continual diagnose connection error to!!!!! Try speed test – computer OK it is only this site? hmmm…. so is the 50,000 visitors real? Or even the offer??
I stumbled accross them today and had a listen to the whole Dr Lant (or Rant) presentation – as you say his tone has something to be desired at times.
I came to the opinion that I can do most of what they have to offer better myself – I was slated by the assistants and Dr Rant when I said that I wanted to do my own Due Dilligence – I think they were taken aback. I can see how someone who has no business or internet background could get sucked into these type of pressure tacticts – not nice!
Too many question marks over this one, as the saying goes – if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is………..
the one thing I couldn’t stop asking myself was why would you set up a website and why would others be motivated to sell for you?

I became a member of Worldprofit in 2006 through a neighbor. However, I didn’t buy into any of that $99.95 crap. I just became a basic member. It has no benefit at all. I can’t believe all these people are buying silver packages.
